PURPOSE 

Good News Ministry exists to glorify God by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, restoring and strengthening believers, making disciples, and establishing Christ-centered communities that faithfully live out and proclaim the gospel for the advancement of God's kingdom.

 

VISION

To see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ through restoration, discipleship, and evangelism, resulting in healthy, Christ-centered communities of faith in Albay and beyond.

 

MISSION

To glorify God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, restoring and encouraging believers affected by spiritual challenges, making disciples through personal and house-to-house ministry, planting outreach churches, and equipping servants of Christ for sustainable and effective ministry.

 

Core Goals

1. Restoration and Revival

Provide spiritual care, prayer, biblical teaching, and encouragement for Christians who have been affected by church conflicts, disappointments, or spiritual struggles.

2. Evangelism and Gospel Outreach

Share the gospel through personal relationships, house-to-house ministry, Bible studies, community outreach, and other opportunities God provides.

3. Discipleship and Leadership Development

Help believers grow in their relationship with Christ and equip them to become disciple-makers who can teach and mentor others.

4. Church Planting and Community Building

Establish outreach churches and develop healthy local faith communities that continue the work of discipleship and evangelism.

5. Ministry Sustainability

Support full-time servants of Christ by helping them identify ethical part-time livelihood opportunities, following the example of the Apostle Paul, so they can sustain their personal needs while remaining active in ministry.

 

Strategic Priorities

A. Prayer-Centered Ministry

Conduct regular prayer gatherings.

Maintain prayer support for outreach efforts, discipleship, and church planting.

Encourage personal and family prayer among believers.

B. House-to-House Gospel Ministry

Build relationships within communities.

Share the gospel in homes and small groups.

Follow up new contacts through regular visits and Bible studies.

C. Disciple-Making Process

Introduce people to Christ through gospel teaching.

Guide new believers toward spiritual growth and obedience.

Train mature believers to disciple others.

D. Outreach Church Development

Identify communities with spiritual needs.

Establish regular Bible studies and worship gatherings.

Develop local leaders who can serve and strengthen the congregation.

E. Servant Support Initiative

Network with businesses, professionals, and ministry partners.

Connect ministry workers with flexible employment opportunities.

Promote responsible stewardship and self-supporting ministry models where appropriate.
