Last Sunday, I preached about the biblical truth concerning salvation, the church, ministry, elders and deacons, and the importance of continuing in discipleship and mission. I have already shared about the Good News Ministry—a ministry centered on Jesus Christ, where people are called by Him, formed as His disciples, transformed into His likeness, and sent to make disciples of others. I invited everyone who is willing to follow Jesus and join in this ministry. I am currently praying for those who are willing to follow Jesus as His disciples, be transformed into His likeness, and be sent on mission with us. Last Monday, I shared the gospel online. From Tuesday to Wednesday, I devoted myself to prayer and Bible reading, seeking God's guidance for the ministry. Then, on Thursday, God provided a household that we were able to visit and share the gospel with. The person we visited is a farmer, so I shared with him the parables of the mustard seed and the true vine, who is Jesus. I then asked him, "How can a person remain in Christ?" He answered, "A person must first have faith. Then I added, what kind of faith? The Bible speaks of a living faith—a faith that trusts Jesus and responds by obeying and following Him. We are saved by God's grace through faith, and biblical faith is never mere belief; it responds to God's word in obedient trust (Ephesians 2:8–10; James 2:17, 26). Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:15). Obedience does not earn God's grace but is the response of genuine faith to His gracious call. Faith that refuses to obey is dead, while living faith receives Christ, follows Him, and continues to walk in His commands. Then today, Friday, I realized that we need to begin reaching people in other barangays and communities. If I wait for other church leaders here, the mission of reaching others may be greatly delayed because of their personal responsibilities and limitations. So I told my mother that we could take the first step by starting free Children's Bible Lessons. I believe that if we begin the work, others may be encouraged to join us later. I asked my mother if she knew anyone in another barangay who might be willing to host a Children's Bible Lesson, and she said yes. She is now contacting a family who may be willing to have a Children's Bible Lesson every Saturday. After the lesson with the children, we also plan to share the gospel with the adults. Please pray for (me and my mom) servants of Good News Ministry, and for the families in the new community where we hope to begin the Children's Bible Lessons. May God open hearts to receive His Word and lead many to Christ. #goodnewsministry #bibleanswersforlife #David'sporchministry

Praise for Bro. Mark Juns recovery from the accident this week!

Local brownouts have been an issue in communication. Keep trying.

Although the earthquake was serious, and there was disruption to our day there is no serious damage to local members housing or infrastructure.

Bible studies locally continue with four different families as we plan a revival to spread the Good News.
